The Vineyard at Borgo Medioevale Announces a New Product in Growing Line

PRESS RELEASE
SWANSEA, SOUTH CAROLINA November 18, 2012 -- The Vineyard at Borgo Medioevale is delighted to announce the latest addition to its existing line of Muscadine grape products.

In 2011, The Vineyard’s first-ever harvest led to the creation of Borgo Medioevale Blush Muscadine Grape Cider, which is a blend of the two types of muscadine grapes grown at The Vineyard: deep purple-colored Noble grapes and bronze Carlos grapes. Now, with the 2012 harvest, The Vineyard at Borgo Medioevale is proudly introducing its Red Muscadine Grape Cider. The red cider is strictly a blend of the darker colored Noble grapes and, as its name may imply, the deep, dark color emboldens this cider with a robust, hearty flavor and a well-rounded finish. The Vineyard’s Red Muscadine Grape Cider is the ideal beverage to pair hot or cold with a holiday feast; it is resilient, yet not overbearing in flavor.

"We are thrilled that people love our Muscadine grape products. We’re committed to constantly finding new ways to meet our customers’ demands and increasing our product line,” said Dr. Lucinda Cassamassino DiFalco, Founder, CEO and President of L.C. Development, LLC., the company that manages the vineyard property. Dr. Cassamassino DiFalco enthusiastically shared with me, “Our grape harvest over the last few years has been increasing in tonnage at a rapid rate, allowing us to bring delicious new products to the public at the end of each harvest season."

The Vineyard at Borgo Medioevale was planted in 2007. Since then, L.C. Development, LLC., has maintained its commitment to eco-friendly agriculture and business practices, holding true to the company’s mission of fostering the harmonious co-existence of Man, Industry and Nature.
