Benvenuti! Welcome to Borgo Medioevale's Photo Gallery.
Check out the progress of the Vineyard at Borgo Medioevale, or meet some of the members of the Borgo Medioevale team that you've heard so much about. This year, the vines really filled out and look like they're ready to produce the lush, delicious grapes that South Carolina natives wait anxiously for all year. Already Buy-A-Vine sponsors like Carolyn Mejia and Greg DiFalco have come down to the vineyard to experience their investment first hand. Farmer Marvin does a great job of keeping everything growing and producing for us, on the land that he has farmed for over 30 years! Please check out some of the pictures from our 2010 Fall harvest below. Check back often for more pictures!
Enjoy our most recent pictures or, as we say in Italian, "buona visione"!

One of our biggest grapevines with many, many bunches of juicy grapes.
Carolyn, one of our sponsors, is more than content with the results of her investment.
In this picture, if you look closely, you can see the small clusters of grapes starting to form. It is so exciting!
You can see how rich and satisfying these grapes will be from the robustness of the vines.
Every fruitful vine you pledge to support through the Buy-A-Vine Program comes with a personalized plaque that can have your name or a personal dedication added to it.
These lively green leaves inspire the feeling that we will soon be reaping our rewards.
Our vines are maintained in a careful and diligent manner by Marvin, who has farmed this same tract of land for over 30 years!
Observe how the vines are wrapping around the wires ever so intricately. It is amazing how well Muscadine grapes take to South Carolina's climate.
We can expect to see even more lovely, expansive vines like this one each year, as the vineyard matures.
You can already imagine the many delicious products that can be made from these grapes - from jams to juice and our own proprietary blend of wine.
Our farmer Marvin is at the vineyard everyday. He is very attentive and dedicated to the success of the vineyard.
Up close, you can see how healthy and plentiful the vines look.
The 4 acres of Muscadine plantings have come a long way from the tiny seedlings they were just a few short years ago.
You can see how much progress has been made since we started the vineyard in 2007. We now have our own well, a complete irrigation system, and electrical power.
We carefully inspect each vine to ensure optimum health.

Our muscadine vines need the support of our Buy-A-Vine sponsors to help them grow as big and lush as this vine!
