SWANSEA, SOUTH CAROLINA November 25, 2016 – The Vineyard at Borgo Medioevale’s 2016 Harvest has officially concluded, making this year the biggest year for grape production yet. Since the inaugural harvest season in 2010, The Vineyard has yielded an unprecedented amount of nutritious Muscadine grapes of both the Carlos and Noble varieties with each passing year.

The Muscadine vines at The Vineyard were first planted in 2007, and have grown exponentially since the first harvest six years ago. Each year these resilient Muscadine vines perform better than the last, giving us the ability to produce and distribute the lush and delicious signature Borgo Medioevale Muscadine Grape products that South Carolina natives, customers, and Buy-A-Vine supporters wait anxiously for all year long.

Each new Muscadine Grape juice or cider product added to our collection of favorites becomes a staple in the household of families nationwide, who then look forward to sharing our products with loved ones. Borgo Medioevale’s distribution of Muscadine-based products is the first of its kind to be sold in the Northeast, which is why our loyal customers consider these items a true gem. With The Vineyard producing such a substantial amount of grapes this season, customers can expect new ciders – red, white and blush – coming soon!
